Our Antarctic Pure Sea Salt & BC Kelp is a savoury blend of mineral rich sea salt and sustainably wildcrafted British Columbia kelp, creating a naturally flavourful seasoning for everyday cooking. Our sea salt begins in the Antarctic Ocean, carried north by the Benguela Current along South Africa’s west coast. As it travels, the ice cold ocean water filters slowly through layers of ancient seashell beds and sand, collecting in a rare underground saltwater aquifer where it is gently purified over time. From there, the mineral rich brine is brought to the surface and left to slowly sun and wind dry by nature. Naturally containing over 80 trace minerals, our Antarctic sea salt has been independently tested to confirm a rich mineral spectrum, including approximately 4,300 ppm magnesium, 1,500 ppm calcium, and 1,300 ppm potassium, contributing to its naturally mineral rich composition.
